Global Warming

Dry/Ice: Global Warming Revealed

Few days back my son was watching something on Discovery Channel. I was impressed with the picture they were showing on it. I asked my son" What is it?", he told me "They are showing the effects of Global Warming". I asked again"What Global Warming...?", he continues "due the increase in the atmosphere of greenhouse gas concentration like water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane and ozone, the temperature of the planet Earth increases. The higher the concentration of greenhouse gases CO2 in the atmosphere, the more heat energy is being reflected back to the Earth. Increasing Global temperature are causing broad range of changes like melting of land ice, extreme weather events such as floods, droughts, heat waves and tornadoes, spreading diseases, etc.

Global warming is, indeed, a cause of concern for all of us.

Who has brought the situation to a stage where the future of our planet and of our future generations looks foggy.

UN (United Nations) points at 'us' for continuously deteriorating situation.

What have we done to ensure that the damages to the environmental do not escalate further?

On one hand we show our concern about the rising temperature and on the other hand we have not reduced the usage of equipments which contribute to the Global Warming.

What is your carbon footprint?
